
NFT.NYC has announced the much-awaited NFT.London 2022 conference, taking place at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London, United Kingdom, from November 3rd-4th. One of the world’s leading events committed to giving a voice to the growing global NFT community, NFT.London will bring together Brands, Developers, Entrepreneurs, Gamers, Artists, Investors, Collectors, and Enthusiasts on a single platform. The massive line-up of distinguished guest speakers includes Orbis86 Founder Soniya Ahuja, as well as numerous Web3 innovators and leaders from all over the world.
Soniya will be joined by four other speakers on day 2 of the event at 11:35 AM for a 25-minute session on “Supporting Under Represented Communities in the NFT Space”. A strong believer and advocate for community ownership as well as demographic representation and diversity, Soniya. Her project, Orbis86, is a collection of 8686 visually dynamic humanoid NFTs, that celebrates diversities in color, race, genders, sexualities, nationalities, and communities, and represents a journey of transcendence and transformation.
The 3-dimensional characters are designed by a team of professionals from all over the world, echoing both the impact that Orbis86 hopes to create within the NFT space and the topic of Soniya’s session at the conference. Her co-speakers include Co-founder of Gold Bangle Club, Hamisha Mehta, Co-Founder of Soga World, Lucy Rogers, Co-Founder & Director of Ethics and Social Policy Metacampus, Alison Alexander, and Cynthia Overton, Director of Tech Workplace Initiatives at the Kapor Center.
The conference will be held from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days, and will also consist of several activities, music performances, gaming, art, a puppy room, and a long list of speaker sessions on key topics of importance for the global NFT community. These will cover everything from the future of AI, VR, and NFTs to their impact and role in the music industry, global geopolitics, education, and gender, tax considerations for NFT projects, the foundations of a successful NFT venture, and more.
